What to bring

This is all it takes to start.

Chains, rings, pendants, earrings, coins or broken pieces. Broken gold weighs the same as whole gold.

New York requires it for this kind of transaction, and it gets recorded.

Box, papers or the diamond certificate, if you kept them. They help, but they aren’t required.

The appraisal takes minutes and we go in order of arrival. No appointment needed.

You walk in, say hello and set it on the cloth. No appointment, no obligation.

We test the karat and weigh it on the scale, right in front of you. Raffi walks you through what he sees.

If the number works for you, you get paid on the spot. If it doesn’t, you take your piece home and nothing happened.

How you get paid

Cash, Zelle or card. No waiting on a third party to approve anything, and no coming back tomorrow.

Questions

Do you charge for an appraisal?: No. Looking at your piece, testing it and weighing it is free, whether you sell or not.
Do you buy broken pieces?: Yes. A snapped chain or a single earring weighs the same as a complete piece.
Do I need an appointment?: No. We’re open every day from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM and we go in order of arrival.
How much will you pay me?: It depends on the karat, the weight and the market that day. That’s why we test and weigh in front of you before naming a number.
What if I’d rather not sell?: You take your piece home. You can also pawn it and get it back later, under our two active DCWP licenses. Ask in store about the terms of each option.
Do you speak Spanish?: Spanish and English, seven days a week.
